Rules
and Regulations:
1.
Driver is required to fill out entry form, which includes a waiver
of liability.
2.
All drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
3.
Fair officials have the right to reject any and all entries.
4.
Number must be painted on top and both sides of combine.
5.
No radios for driver communication allowed.
6.
Anyone with a preexisting and female drivers who are pregnant may
not participate.
7.
No alcohol is allowed on the fairgrounds. Anyone on a team
found with alcohol in the combine will be escorted off the
grounds.
8.
No offensive language or pictures will be permitted.
9.
The decision of the officials is final and cannot be appealed.
10.
No teaming, everyone for themselves.
11.
Disconnect all drive belts to the threshing unit, grain table, and
remove straw chopper.
12.
Fuel tank must be mounted in the grain tank.
13.
All combines must have a cab.
14.
All drivers must wear a DOT approved helmet.
15.
All drivers must wear seatbelts.
16.
Cab doors must be welded and/or bolted shut.
17.
No glass.
18.
Remove ladders.
19.
Remove unloading auger from grain tank.
20.
No reinforcement plates or shields may be added.
21.
Install welded bars to cab about 2 feet up.
22.
No weight can be added.
23.
Tires are to be "stock" and nothing but air used to
inflate them. No liquids.
24.
Rear tires may be turned around or "dished out" for a
wider stance as long as they are the stock wheel and tire.
25.
Rear axle can be welded so that it does not pivot up and down.
26.
No corn heads.
27.
No rear wheel assist. 4 wheel drive must be disabled.
28.
Grain table must be used, if torn off the unit is
disqualified. Weld it to the combine.
29.
Remove reel, sickle bar, guards, and floating cutter bar.
30.
Head must be a minimum of 10 feet and a maximum of 18 feet.
31.
Head must be fastened solid to the combine no lower than 18"
and no higher than 24" from front edge of the grain table
to the ground.
32.
Hydraulic hoses to the head cylinders must be removed and the head
welded in a fixed position.
33.
Judges decision as to the safety and operation of each combine is
final.
34.
No direct hits in the driver area.
35.
No lifting another combine off the ground.
36.
No hitting a combine after it is out.
37.
Time limit is 3 minutes from the start to make a hit.
38.
No hitting with the rear of the combine.
39.
All combines must stop immediately when warning signal is given.
40.
Proper attire must be worn - no tank tops, muscle shirts, and no
shorts.
41.
No steering wheel spinner knobs.
42.
Contact demo officials if your combine is not being picked up that
night.
43.
You will NOT receive a check until after ALL equipment and parts
have been loaded on a trailer.
44.
Clear any "inventive idea" with demo officials before
you do it. This demo is for fun and to compete
equally. Therefore, you may be illegal.
