Show Rules and Regulations
1. Current Health Papers for all animals entered in the show (within 90 days for Tennessee residents and 30 days for animals

    outside the state.)  These are easy to obtain, just check with any veterinarian.
2. All goats must have scrapie tags prior to show, exhibitors can contact the USDA office at (615) 781-5310 to order their  

    tags unless you have a registered paper Goat which must have the correct tattoo according to the paperwork.
3. Any breed or cross breed of goat can show.  This is not a sanctioned show.
4. There will be 5 divisions:  Doe Kids (females that have only baby teeth), Wether Kids (castrated males that have only 

    baby teeth), Yearling Does (females that have no more than 2 sets of big teeth), Bucklings under 1 year (Must have baby 

    teeth for this class), Senior Bucks 1 year and older.  (All bucklings and bucks will be aged checked by their 

    teeth.)
5. Goats will be weighed-in and classes will be divided by weight except for grown bucks.  Bucklings will be in classes  

    according to their weight.  The number of classes will depend on the number of entries.
6. Weigh-in starts a 1 P.M. on Saturday, August 30.
7. Pens will be supplied for bucks only.
8. Bedding provided (no straw allowed).
9. There is an entry fee of $1.00 per goat.
